March Break at Craigdarroch Castle
Craigdarroch Castle is offering a great selection March break programs for elementary school children, teens and young adults. Designed to bring history to life, sessions are divided into age ranges in order to target appropriate themes and topics. For elementary students, weekday classes will feature a guided I-spy tour of the Castle, a Victorian-style craft activity, snack and indoor/outdoor games. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays are for ages 8-11. Tuesdays and Thursdays are for ages 5-7. $25 for 2.5 hours. (9:30 AM to noon.) Pre-registration and payment is required. Drop off starts at 9:20 and pickup is at noon. Parents are encouraged to register quickly, as each class will be limited to just 12 lucky children.

For teens and young adults, a series of vintage craft workshops will tie into our ongoing Vintage Craft series for adults. Featuring a range of crafts that would have been popular during the Dunsmuir’s time, these workshops have been updated to modern styles and sensibilities. The full schedule of events can be found at under the ‘events and programs’ section.
