WestJet to provide new flights to Victoria

Victoria BC flight informationWestJetters, the name for WestJet Airlines’ loyal customer-base, has recently voted on a name for the airline’s new regional service – WestJet Encore.

More than 800 names were put forward. The final two, Encore and Echo, were then put to a WestJet employee vote.

The regional airline will launch in the second half of 2013, using Bombardier Q400 aircraft to serve smaller Canadian communities.

WestJet says it will announce a schedule for WestJet Encore, including the first communities it will serve, early next year.¬†WestJet is Canada’s most preferred airline, offering scheduled service to 81 destinations in North America, Central America and the Caribbean.

So, there will be more ways to fly to beautiful Sidney-by-the-sea!
